INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION
NKS SOLAR ONE PROJECT: EPC FOR DC-SIDE

NKS Solar One, Inc. ("NKS"), the joint venture established by Blueleaf and its local partner, NKS Energy Utilities, Inc., is proud to announce that, in addition to securing a Solar Energy Service Contract from the Department of Energy (“DOE”), our NKS One Floating Solar Power Project – Phase 1 with a capacity of up to 162MWp (“The Plant”) has also won an offtake contract from the second round of the Green Energy Auction Program conducted by the DOE last 12 July 2023. We are set to develop, construct, and operate the first utility-scale floating solar project in the country at Lake Caliraya and Lake Lumot, Laguna, Philippines, which will be connected to the NGCP 230kV Lumban Substation through a 2km long transmission line. See Appendix A for a more detailed project description.

We are seeking highly qualified contractors to undertake the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) requirements for the Direct Current (DC)-side of the Project. The selected contractors will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of this significant endeavor.

Interested contractors are requested to demonstrate their qualifications by submitting the Pre-Qualification Documents (see Appendix B for the complete list) as part of our stringent internal procurement process by May 15, 2024 (Wednesday), 5:00 PM.

To ensure a comprehensive evaluation, please send your pre-qualification documents to procurement@blueleafenergy.ph. Only pre-qualified contractors will be provided with a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP), which includes the Employer Requirements and bidding timeline and process, from May 16 to 31, 2024.

NKS reserves the right to accept or reject any submission for prequalification, to accept or reject late submissions, and to annul the prequalification process, without thereby incurring any liability to the contractors.

Supplier accreditation will be conducted in parallel to the prequalification and proposal preparation. Prequalified contractors are requested to complete their accreditation before submission of their official proposal, with timing to be finalized in the RFP. Only proposals from accredited contractors will be evaluated. See Appendix C for the advanced copy of the Accreditation Requirements.
